Description of the Programme

The postgraduate program is interdisciplinary in content and inter-institutional in structure since it is co-operated by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and all research centers in Athens.

The program is modular, flexible to participants’ backgrounds and interest, and provides both theoretical and practical training, including two research laboratory rotations supplemented with technical courses and a full year of research training.

The curriculum covers the full spectrum of neuroscience, from molecular and cellular to systems neuroscience, as well as high-level topics like computational neuroscience and big data analytics.
